Real name Bundotich Zedekiah Kiprop is an entrepreneur, philanthropist, and a politician commonly known as Buzeki. He was a gubernatorial aspirant for Uasin Gishu county vying as an independent candidate during the 2017 elections. He started off hawking milk in the Coastal region. By the year1988 Buzeki heightened regional sales manager for the dairy sector at Kilifi Plantations. During his occupancy at Kilifi Plantation, the selling numbers increased very significantly, and the company’s business share in the region went up to over 80%. Later on, he helped the introduction of Tuzo milk in Coast Province and was pioneer wholesaler of the brand in the region.
Having recorded success, Zedekiah Bundotich expanded into transport business in 2004 through his Buzeki Enterprises LTD Nairobi City, Kenya. Buzeki Enterprises Limited renders container load services to any global address. The company’s fleet comprises Buzeki trucks, low loaders, flatbeds, tippers, petroleum tankers, and cargo drop sides. Buzeki Enterprise has served with leading corporations and non-governmental institutions such as the UN-WFP, East Africa Port Land Cement, and also Bamburi Cement Limited. The logistics division of the company provides storage equipment in Mombasa and Eldoret town. Through Buzeki transporters the company runs a fleet of 400 prime movers on a daily basis. In 2008, he founded Buzeki Dairy Limited an enterprise concentrating on the processing and packaging of dairy produce. Buzeki Dairy Limited purchased its first plant in Kilifi that had a production capacity of 25,000litres per day. Subsequently, in 2010, the Dairy firm obtained another plant with a capability of 250,000 litres per day and branded it Molo Milk. Buzeki Dairy then Started Limuru Fresh in 2012 after acquiring its third plant in Limuru Kenya. Brookside Dairies took over Buzeki Dairy in the year 2013 in a deal worth $15 million.
At present, Zedekiah Kiprono is the Executive Director of Buzeki Group of Companies. He supervises daily operations and important policies of the company. Zedekiah Bundotich possesses a sales and marketing degree and a leading international diploma in sales and marketing from the America University and Cambridge University respectively. Buzeki further holds numerous certifications in leadership, business and road safety. He is an alumnus of Mangu High School and Molo Academy. Between the year 2008 and 2010, Buzeki was the Chairman of the Kenya Transport Association Executive Committee.
Mr Bundotich traces his inspiration from his mother who supported him and his siblings singly. He endeavours to make a difference for people nearby him. As such, Zedekiah Bundotich supports several community initiatives centring on Education and leadership of the youth. He awards bursaries for needy students in Uasin Gishu County and different parts of the country.
Buzeki maintains multiple homes and has invested in the booming real estate industry. Mr Bundotich has a farmhouse in Ainbkoi area, Uasin Gishu county, where he likewise exercises large-scale dairy farming.
