– The combative politician seized the moment to declare his 2022 presidential bid

Mombasa Governor Hassan Joho has banged Deputy President William Ruto for hoodwinking Kenyans with a ‘hustler’ tag for his own political survival.

The fiery county boss said Ruto was using political dishonesty and it was high time he ceased from hypocrisy and told Kenyans the truth about his wealth.

Speaking at the Mkunguni Square in Lamu Town, upset Joho blasted the DP saying he knew very well that he was a billionaire who was dishing out millions of shillings and living in a house costing billions

“How can you call yourself a ‘Hustler Number One’ and you’re living in a house costing billions? You’re travelling by a chopper, accompanied by more than five helicopters! Moreover, you call yourself a hustler! he said

The Orange Democratic Movement (ODM), the deputy party leader, challenged Ruto’s definition and understanding of the term which he said was hurting millions of real hustlers in the country.

“Real hustlers are the millions of jobless graduates in the country, those struggling to eke a living in the small sectors in the country and the poor orphans, widows and the disabled who have been forced to live one day at a time, hopping that tomorrow will be better. You don’t fit anywhere in the hustler nation my friend,” said Joho.

Joho revisited the Arror and Kimwarer dams scandal asking the DP to explain how KSh 7 billion was spent on a stalled project.

He asked President Uhuru Kenyatta to intensify the war on corruption by ensuring those involved were arrested, charged and pay for their deeds.

“I want to request President Uhuru Kenyatta to go for all those involved in corruption, including myself, I am ready to face arrest if I am found culpable,” said Joho.
The flaming politician likewise seized the opportunity to declare his 2022 presidential bid was saying he was ready to face off with his competitors for the country’s top seat.
