Vera Sidika

If you messup with the bull, you get the horns, and when you divulge Vera Sidika’s heart, she writes a song concerning you, exposing you for who you are. Hardly weeks after Vera Sidika and Otile Brown called it ends, the luscious Vera has gone ahead to publish her first single titled ‘Nalia’. The song, just like the name suggests, describes Vera’s pain and heartache created by her breakup with Kenyan RnB star Otile Brown, also known as Bad Man Shivo. Read on to discover the exciting details about the song, and why Otile Brown should certainly consider releasing a comeback song to this. Also covered in this piece is the Nalia video.

The question many Kenyans has been asking themselves for a better part of this weekend is this: Who grasped that Vera Sidika can sing? On Saturday, Vera Sidika debuted her initial single, Nalia, and Kenyans went crazy. By Sunday, the song was then number 1 on YouTube’s trending list. Everyone wanted to understand: Can she really sing? Is the song about Otile Brown? Is the song an expose on what happened between her and Otile Brown? Well, the explanation to all these questions is: Yes.

Say what you want, but you have to open it up to Vera, and this is why. Recognise last week when Vera was spotted having lunch and dinner with Tanzanian model Calisah? Also Recognize her and Calisah posting photos that left us questioning whether they were dating? Do you even remember the two posting lots of photos of a Mercedes Benz that Vera Sidika had supposedly bought Calisah? Well, here’s the thing. It turns out that all these were advertising stunts. As it turns out, Calisah might have been merely only an actor for the Nalia video, and these photos were all taken from the scenes in the Nalia video. I bet that most of you feel duped. I mean, Vera Sidika pounded us like a fiddle. What amazing selling skills, right?

Nalia video

Here is the viral video to Vera Sidika’s single ‘Nalia’:

A quick scan of the Nalia video reveals that Calisah plays the role of Vera’s quite ‘parasitic’ boyfriend, sorry to say. In that video, Vera Sidika is seen showering Calisah(her boyfriend) with gifts. I mean, the initial scene shows Vera gifting him with Chanel shoes. Yes, Chanel! Ensuing, we see Vera and Calisah on a date, and when the bill comes, Calisah shifts it to Vera, and she settles it. Then, Vera Sidika goes on to gift this Calisah with a car – a Mercedes Benz. So, what was the significance of all this? Well, I think this video is essentially Vera’s way of showing us that she wore the pants in her association with Otile Brown.

Another significant feature of the Nalia video is that it displays the fact that Otile Brown cheated on Vera Sidika. In the video, Calisah, who is considered to be playing the role of Otile Brown, cheats on Vera, even though Vera essentially does everything for him. When she finds out about it, Vera torches the Mercedes Benz she had bought her Calisah. Talk about revenge here!

Moving on to Vera Sidika’s Nalia lyrics, we can certainly tell from the song’s strong Kiswahili that Vera is committing this song to none other than her Bongo-singing ex-boyfriend Otile Brown. I mean, who else can agree the heavy Swahili words that she uses? Kenyans have even fumed about the fact that they do not seem to understand most of what she is speaking in the song. Nonetheless, there are lyrics in the song that we cannot seem to overlook. In one of the most notable verses, Sidika sings,

“Ukageuza kwangu ikawa kiwanda, kunicheza cheza kama kinanda, aa tembea tembea, tembea, nishachoshwa ulafi oo basi tembea, penzi langu kwako lishalegea, ushataka kiki na ushabembea, potea,” suggesting at the fact that Otile Brown syphoned her for her money.
In yet different prominent part of the song, Vera Sidika really regrets,

“Ujauzito wako niliotoa mie chanzo cha kukosana nami uongo, mzushi mzushi kuhusu maadili aibu nadangia popote uongo nalia nalia nalia nalia oh nalia,” opening Otile Brown for wrongly blaming her of aborting his child.

The song is loaded with lyrics that give us a more in-depth knowledge of what actually happened between Vera and Otile. In another line, Vera sings on,

“Chochote nilikupa bila hofu support one way, kuhusu pesa ukiomba nilisaidia kukupea. Sikujali nikakuweka ndani mengine nisijue wewe dereva njiani mimi suka matatani, nalia, nalia, nalia, nalia oh nalia kwa saa nilizopata kwako,”

describing how she helped this man.

So, what can we harvest from Vera Sidika Nalia song?

  • For one, Otile Brown may have just been cheating on Vera. The mystery we are all asking ourselves is this: Who do you cheat on vixen Vera Sidika with? I mean, have you watched at Vera Sidika?
  • If the Nalia song’s video is anything substantial to go by, then Otile Brown was a kept man. Vera Sidika footed the bills.
Vera Sidika was trully in love with Otile Brown. However, this is simply what we can tell from this video and from Vera Sidika’s distress exuded in the song’s lyrics.
  • Otile Brown wrongly blamed Vera of aborting his child.
  • Let us back up to that video, could the clearly fake and severely orchestrated fire be suggestive of the fake relationship between Otile Brown and Vera Sidika?

Recent Vera Sidika news

Just Last week, Vera Sidika was said to be dating Tanzanian model Calisah. This was after the pair posted separate photos of themselves feasting, each one ‘carefully’ avoiding to state who they were eating with.

Calisah then ‘accidentally’ exposed that he was dining with Vera Sidika.

Later on, after blowing away time together, Vera Sidika praised an undisclosed person on her Insta stories for staying good at his ‘craft’, and we were left questioning what this ‘craft’ might just be. As if that was not sufficient, Vera allegedly bought Calisah a Mercedes Benz (a related one to the one her ex Otile Brown wanted, the one that might have created their break up). If only we all knew that all this was a promotion stunt for her new song, then maybe we wouldn’t have spent so much yearning to know about Vera and Calisah’s locations.

Vera Sidika’s new Nalia mp3 can be downloaded from several sites, but I think it would be a way better if you watched the Nalia video just to get the gist of what really occurred between the two people we once regarded to as ‘couple goals’.
